Afro Samurai
Monday, July 16th, 200710:44 pmIt seems like it takes me forever to find a character that I can get into working on. Finally by suggestion I chose Afro Samurai, a character I’d never even heard of until James suggested him. I’ve finished his base mesh and am moving on to zbrush.

Hey buddy, this is really taking form now, and really starting to look interesting. The neck area is cool and definitely stands out. I like the material – new to ZBrush 3 I assume? I am so glad you have chosen to create this character, I really liked him in the movie. I love the long features – always have. The face, chest, and abs look very nice and defined. It looks like the toes are taking form too. It looks like the legs are next to see the biggest change. Its always good to see you doing some real work again!

Yo afro samuri looks cool but here’s another suggestion. You should do something like Leonardo from ninja turtles or something a little more mechanical like a mech or a transformer. Or possibly try to make one of the characters from the cartoon “beast wars”.
